November Event Recap
Thank you to the over 100 social media enthusiasts who joined us last night for the November meeting of the Social Media Club/Dallas! Once again, Moroch Partners was our gracious venue host and guests enjoyed a generous smorgasbord from Zoe’s Kitchen.
Our speaker was T
im Walker, Social Media Manager, from Hoovers Inc. who drove up from Austin just to visit with our group. Tim gave a fantastic talk about getting back to the basics of business. He stressed that as much fun as social media platforms can be — that at its core, business is about the customer and finding a way to exchange valued products and services. He encouraged attendees to use these exciting new social media tools to deepen the core relationships you can create with your customers that will then produce loyal evangelists for your brand.
After Tim’s discussion, the group was privileged to see a demonstration from nomee. This Plano-based company has just rolled out an exciting new platform that, for the first time ever, allows you to follow people instead of websites! Social Media Club encourages you to visit nomee’s site, download the application and give it a whirl!
After the event, everyone crossed the street for cocktails and networking at Bengal Coast. nomee generously picked up the bar tab — YEA for nomee!
