Social Media Club hosts con­ver­sa­tions that explore key issues fac­ing our soci­ety as tech­nolo­gies trans­form the way we con­nect, com­mu­ni­cate, col­lab­o­rate and relate to each other. The Club’s pri­mary mis­sion is to pro­mote media lit­er­acy, pro­mote stan­dard tech­nolo­gies, encour­age eth­i­cal behav­ior and share best prac­tices. We are active across the U.S. and Canada and expand­ing globally.”

Social Media Club Dal­las aims to focus this club on social media prac­ti­tion­ers in cor­po­rate, agency, and PR roles. While there are many inde­pen­dent social media con­sul­tants, we are pri­mar­ily inter­ested in how the medium to large enter­prises are lever­ag­ing social media to reach, engage, and most impor­tantly drive rev­enue. Fur­ther­more, we are look­ing to see how com­pa­nies are inno­vat­ing, mea­sur­ing and improv­ing upon social media tactics.

Now we all know that social media is the great equal­izer when it comes to the small busi­ness and the indi­vid­ual, but our goal is to focus on the com­plex issues fac­ing orga­ni­za­tions when try­ing to build brands, man­age cus­tomer ser­vice, engage poten­tial cus­tomers, and bet­ter the over­all ecosystem.
